The work "The New Consumer Protection Law: Greek - Union", under the editorship of Professor El. Alexandridou, constitutes a collective scientific effort, focusing on the analysis of a broad range of issues arising in the context of the implementation of the New Consumer Protection Law, at both national and union levels.

This current 4th - revised and fully updated - edition of this collective work includes the article-by-article interpretation of the provisions of Law 2251/1994, as currently in force, after the amendments introduced by Laws 4967/2022, 4933/2022, 5019/2023, and 5039/2023, as well as the interpretative analysis of relevant legislative texts.

Specifically, the work is structured into four main parts: The extensive introductory section regarding the Union Consumer Protection Law (first part), followed by the second - and most important - part of the article-by-article interpretation of the basic Law 2251/1994, as currently in force. In this section, the applicable legislative text is followed by an extensive and in-depth scientific and practical analysis of various issues that arise from the interpretation and application of each provision.

The second part also includes specific chapters related to Electronic Commerce (Presidential Decree 131/2003) and Alternative - Electronic Resolution of Consumer Disputes (Ministerial Decision 70330/2015), which, despite their regulatory independence, show strong regulatory relevance to the respective provisions of the basic legislation.

Furthermore, the third part addresses the section on criminal protection of the consumer, while the fourth part encompasses the chapters on investor protection, borrower protection, and airline passenger protection, as a consumer. Finally, the individual sections of the work are accompanied by a user-friendly cumulative index of entries, as well as an index of the decisions of the Court of Justice of the European Union referenced in the chapters of the work.

This collective work represents a complete and user-friendly study and interpretation manual of the New Consumer Protection Law, essential for every legal practitioner, and a modern and practically oriented educational textbook for students.
