These concepts certainly resonate with many other professional and social groups, as for all of us, "creative time" is what we call "lost time." In other words, a walk on the beach, alone or with company, a relaxed conversation by the sea or by the fireplace with a glass of wine in hand, an evening drive with music in the background, a leisurely run— all those activities will play a catalytic role, so that at the right moment, the mind can function truly creatively.

This book, therefore, aspires to serve as a source of reflection and thought for the manipulated, stressed, and frustrated professor and researcher, who is a product of the increasing bureaucracy and “corporatization” of the modern university.

Additionally, this book is aimed at academics from a variety of scientific fields, including permanent and adjunct professors and researchers of all ranks, doctoral candidates, as well as graduate and undergraduate students, and, why not, the general public, as the concept of leisure touches every professional space and, more broadly, every aspect of our lives.
