The Byox Jockey Air tricycle combines air-filled tires with a seat that rotates 360° and a backrest with two recline positions. The adjustable parent handle and handlebars allow the height to be changed, while the freewheel function disconnects the pedals from the front wheel. The folding canopy has a window and is removable.
It includes footrests for younger and older children, a soft safety bar, a removable seat and backrest cushion, and a musical toy and light on the handlebars. The rear basket and cup holder on the parent handle provide space for belongings during outings.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Users generally find it sturdy and comfortable for the child, and praise how easy it is for parents to steer. They also mention that it works well as a stroller for toddlers, and that the large, air-filled tires provide a smooth ride over a variety of surfaces. However, assembly is often considered difficult, and some users have concerns about the durability of the handle and certain plastic parts. Its bulk also makes it harder to maneuver in tight spaces.
Very good bike-stroller! Much bigger than anything else I have seen on the market, without being heavy. The child sits comfortably inside (11 months old), it has three positions for the backrest, the parent's steering is a piece of cake, it goes up and down curbs effortlessly and has good suspension. The wheels are large and of good quality. The basket is spacious and user-friendly. The cup holder is more like a bottle holder, but that's a minor issue! The instructions were a bit confusing at first, but it's okay, my husband managed just fine!
P.S. The music it plays is in Russian, Bulgarian, I'm not exactly sure. However, our baby got scared and started crying as soon as he heard it, so our dad cut the cable and now it can't be accidentally activated. The light is good!
Don't buy it! It is difficult to assemble and by the time we finished, the smell of bad plastic had spread throughout the house. It is very heavy and cumbersome. It does not fit in the car. Overall, a very bad purchase.
In general, it is good. Sturdy construction for the child, relatively lightweight as it is made of metal.
As for the negatives:
The lever that allows you to control the bike is relatively thin, resulting in bending if the child holds it tightly.
The handle, although made of metal, has a plastic connector at the bottom that connects it to the second metal part, which deteriorates over time. Since the top and bottom parts are metallic, there should not be plastic in between.
The plastic parts of the pedals came off in the first month, they can be put back on but it was a bit unpleasant.
I bought it because it had some of the best reviews. I have already changed the handle as it broke within the first few weeks with very light use. It is not suitable for sidewalks...
I have no words to describe it, simply the perfect bicycle!! It's worth every penny!! I highly recommend it without reservation!!
Very good choice!
The child enjoys going for a walk!
At first, we used it as a stroller because the child is small and doesn't know how to pedal. It has an extra removable plastic support so that the legs don't hang but also has footrests for the child to step on.
The handlebar for the parent is very user-friendly and adjustable to the desired height.
The color (red) is as vibrant as in the photo.
It has a light for the night and a button with a melody that is in a foreign language (Russian), which is irrelevant.
It also has a basket at the back to store anything you want, as well as a cup holder.
Additionally, it has a sunshade that protects from the sun.
Sturdy construction and a big advantage is that the tires are not plastic.
One disadvantage I encountered is that it doesn't fold to fit in a car trunk.
I would buy it again!
The most important thing is that it is quiet on the road! Sturdy construction. Very easy to drive. Bonus points for the music and the light!
The only negative is the cup holder, which has a slant (it is more suitable for a bottle rather than an open cup - e.g., coffee)
After the first walk with my 19-month-old child, I have the following to say: The child was comfortable on it and enjoyed the walk. It is easy to drive for the parent, except for very narrow passages because it is bulky and makes maneuvering difficult. The cup holder is slanted, so it is not suitable for holding coffee that could spill. The parent's legs sometimes find themselves in the back basket, but it can be removed if not desired. I removed the stickers on the side because they were poorly stuck. Overall, it is a quality and sturdy construction, except for some minor plastic parts that seem like they won't last long.
Difficult assembly, the handle for the parent is short (if you are over 1.80m you will have to bend) and it plays Russian, Bulgarian or something like that, anyway. Otherwise, it's okay.
Very good little bike.
We are 14 months old and the little one enjoys it very much!
A bit difficult to assemble, but once you fix it, it's done!
Quite sturdy construction and easy for the parent to ride.
However, it seems that it is not suitable for many ups and downs on sidewalks, etc., because it gives you the feeling that the handle will slip out of your hands. Time will tell. Also, the air-filled tires are worth every penny and you don't feel any vibrations. We have taken it on asphalt, gravel, and dirt in the park and it didn't get stuck anywhere!
It is the best available in the market at this price.
The bike is good, the service from the store is excellent, careful packaging, the instructions could be a little clearer.
