When psychotherapist Dionysia Giannopoulou was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2018, she felt the world around her collapse. A person who had learned to be on the side of providing help suddenly found herself forced to change roles and be the one asking for help.

Going through the four stages that followed the diagnosis (denial, anger, sadness, acceptance), Dionysia transformed. Moments that previously seemed ordinary and taken for granted suddenly revealed their greatness to her; people whose presence she had ignored until then appeared in her life filled with generosity, and her body, in her eyes, was reborn, more beautiful and magical.

Her journey towards healing and rebirth left indelible marks within her: every experience became an opportunity for reevaluation, every trial a lesson.
