I recommend it to those who want to clear their minds and relax. Suitable for reading before bed or for a break after a more "heavy" book.

Μια ευχάριστη ρομαντική ιστορία που κυλάει γρήγορα και εύκολα χωρίς πολλά πολλά. Φυσικά δεν λείπει το spice και οι αστείες σκηνές, ενώ υπάρχουν και αναφορές σε προβλήματα ψυχικής υγείας που η συγγραφέας προσεγγίζει με πολύ όμορφο και ισορροπημένο τρόπο.
Δεν θα το κρύψω πως η πρωταγωνίστρια, η Ντάλια, δεν ήταν από τις αγαπημένες μου χαρακτήρες σε αυτού του είδους τα βιβλία σε αντίθεση με τον Χουλιάν που πέρασα πολύ καλά και γέλασα μαζί του.
Το συστήνω σε όσους θέλουν να αποσυμφορήσουν το μυαλό τους και να χαλαρώσουν. Κατάλληλο για ανάγνωσμα πριν τον ύπνο ή για ένα διάλειμμα μετά από ένα πιο «βαρύ» βιβλίο.

A book I was eagerly waiting to be translated as I loved the Dreamland Billionaires series and I adore small-town romances!
Dahlia, an interior designer and public figure, has just come out of a toxic and difficult relationship while losing herself along the way and suffering from depression. She decides to return to Wisteria Lake and her family to cope. There, she is awaited by Julian, a billionaire now and her sworn childhood rival. At some point in college, the two found themselves in a complicated situation, and due to an event, Julian was forced to return to the lake, leaving her to struggle with her sorrow. But now everything seems to have changed. A renovation of a historic house that they will need to collaborate on will turn everything upside down. And while Dahlia struggles with her darkness, Julian wants to make everything right!
Touching, sweet, with Lauren Asher's wonderful writing that guarantees a happy ending, I truly enjoyed it. I particularly liked the reference to the mental health issues of the protagonists and the depth of their characters while I loved the way they stood on their own feet and chose to be together! Combined with the small town and their Mexican families that I adored and laughed at, I truly see the author's growth! Also, the spice was very well written. Julian is the ultimate book boyfriend! I highly recommend it! ?

That was never part of the plan….
A pleasant romantic story that flows quickly and easily without much fuss. Of course, the spice and funny scenes are not missing, while there are also references to mental health issues that the author approaches in a very beautiful and balanced way.
I won't hide that the protagonist, Dalia, was not one of my favorite characters in this type of book, unlike Julian, with whom I had a great time and laughed.
I recommend it to those who want to clear their minds and relax. Suitable for reading before bed or for a break after a more "heavy" book.

Παλιοί γνωστοί και ταγμένοι αντίπαλοι, η Ντάλια και ο Χουλιάν μπλέκονται σε μια ανακαίνιση που πρέπει να βγάλουν εις πέρας και ο καθένας έχει το δικό του προσωπικό όφελος. Το να υποκύψουν στα απωθημένα τους;
Αναμενόμενο!
Το να ερωτευτούν όμως;
Δεν ήταν ποτέ μέρος του σχεδίου….
Μια ευχάριστη ρομαντική ιστορία που κυλάει γρήγορα και εύκολα χωρίς πολλά πολλά. Φυσικά δεν λείπει το spice και οι αστείες σκηνές, ενώ υπάρχουν και αναφορές σε προβλήματα ψυχικής υγείας που η συγγραφέας προσεγγίζει με πολύ όμορφο και ισορροπημένο τρόπο.
Δεν θα το κρύψω πως η πρωταγωνίστρια, η Ντάλια, δεν ήταν από τις αγαπημένες μου χαρακτήρες σε αυτού του είδους τα βιβλία σε αντίθεση με τον Χουλιάν που πέρασα πολύ καλά και γέλασα μαζί του.
Το συστήνω σε όσους θέλουν να αποσυμφορήσουν το μυαλό τους και να χαλαρώσουν. Κατάλληλο για ανάγνωσμα πριν τον ύπνο ή για ένα διάλειμμα μετά από ένα πιο «βαρύ» βιβλίο.

A book I was eagerly waiting to be translated as I loved the Dreamland Billionaires series and I adore small-town romances!
Dahlia, an interior designer and public figure, has just come out of a toxic and difficult relationship while losing herself along the way and suffering from depression. She decides to return to Wisteria Lake and her family to cope. There, she is awaited by Julian, a billionaire now and her sworn childhood rival. At some point in college, the two found themselves in a complicated situation, and due to an event, Julian was forced to return to the lake, leaving her to struggle with her sorrow. But now everything seems to have changed. A renovation of a historic house that they will need to collaborate on will turn everything upside down. And while Dahlia struggles with her darkness, Julian wants to make everything right!
Touching, sweet, with Lauren Asher's wonderful writing that guarantees a happy ending, I truly enjoyed it. I particularly liked the reference to the mental health issues of the protagonists and the depth of their characters while I loved the way they stood on their own feet and chose to be together! Combined with the small town and their Mexican families that I adored and laughed at, I truly see the author's growth! Also, the spice was very well written. Julian is the ultimate book boyfriend! I highly recommend it! ?

Ένα βιβλίο που ανυπομονούσα να μεταφραστεί καθώς λάτρεψα τη σειρά Dreamland Billionaires και λατρεύω τα ρομάντζα μικρής πόλης!
Η Ντάλια, διακοσμήτρια εσωτερικών χώρων και δημόσιο πρόσωπο έχει μόλις βγει από μια τοξική και δύσκολη σχέση ενώ στη πορεία έχασε τον εαυτό της και πάσχει από κατάθλιψη. Αποφασίζει να επιστρέψει πίσω στην λίμνη Γουϊστέρια και στην οικογένεια της για να το διαχειριστεί. Εκεί την περιμένει ο Χουλιαν,ένας δισεκατομμυριουχος πλέον οικογενειακος φίλος και δικός της ορκισμένος αντίπαλος από τη παιδική ηλικία. Κάποια στιγμή στο πανεπιστήμιο οι δύο τους βρέθηκαν σε μια περίπλοκη κατάσταση και εξαιτίας ενός γεγονότος ο Χουλιαν αναγκάστηκε να επιστρέψει πίσω στη λίμνη αφήνοντας την να παλεύει με τη θλίψη της. Τώρα όμως όλα φαίνονται να έχουν αλλάξει. Μια ανακίνηση ενός ιστορικού σπιτιού που θα χρειαστεί να συνεργαστούν θα φέρει τα πάνω κάτω. Και ενώ η Νταλια παλεύει με το σκοτάδι της, ο Χουλιαν θέλει να διορθώσει τα πάντα!
Συγκινητικο, γλυκο, με την υπέροχη πένα της Lauren Asher που εγγυάται ένα καλό τέλος, το απόλαυσα πραγματικά. Μου άρεσε ιδιαίτερα η αναφορά στα θέματα ψυχικής υγείας των πρωταγωνιστων και το βάθος των χαρακτήρων τους ενώ αγάπησα το τρόπο που στάθηκαν στα πόδια τους και επέλεξαν να είναι μαζί! Σε συνδυασμό με τη μικρή πολη και και τις μεξικάνικες οικογένειες τους που λάτρεψα και γελασα βλέπω πραγματικά την εξέλιξη της συγγραφέως! Επίσης το spice ήταν πολύ καλογραμμένο. Ο Χουλιαν είναι το απόλυτο book boyfriend! Σας το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα ?
