The fan has two speeds: the low speed is designed for smaller insects, such as mosquitoes, while the high speed is for larger ones, such as wasps and horseflies. Insects can be kept in the drawer or released.
The drawer has a self-locking door, while the inspection flap opens and closes automatically when the fan is switched on or off. The filter and drawer are removable and can be washed with water. The device is mains-powered and must not be exposed to rain.
