The new Emeraldas E was designed at the request of fishermen in Southern Europe for a mechanism with very micrometric brakes for squid fishing. The rotor and body are made of Zaion V, which is evident in its very lightweight. Despite its low weight, Zaion possesses greater stiffness than aluminum!

Its handle is made of solid aluminum monocoque without joints, featuring an eva-type O grip. A new design on the bail and the line roller results in the line being positioned correctly for winding onto the spool even more easily after strong jerks.

The gear ratio in the two main models (2500-3000) has been "lowered" slightly, making it very friendly for anglers using various eging techniques.
