Description

This desktop switch offers an economical way for SOHO and small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to leverage the growing bandwidth in Gigabit Ethernet. It provides 5 Gigabit ports for quick server deployment to handle larger network loads.

  • 5 Gigabit copper ports: The Gigabit ports provide an economical alternative to using fiber optic cables. They support auto-sensing network speeds of 10/100/1000Mbps and automatic negotiation of full/half duplex operation.
  • Gigabit access to server with full-duplex operation: The Gigabit ports provide dedicated bandwidth for servers operating at full-duplex speeds of 2000Mbps.
  • IEEE 802.3x Flow Control: Supports fast and reliable data transfer with minimal data loss during transmission.
  • Automatic MDI/MDIX crossover negotiation: Eliminates the need for crossover cables or uplink ports.
  • Easy integration: Easily integrates with existing network equipment, whether it is Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, or Gigabit Ethernet.
  • Plug-and-play installation: Network installation is made easy through automatic network speed sensing.

Stable, with use on PLC. Household office in which 2 computers + the PLC for the router are connected. It's worth the money, although the same job can be done with cheaper options.

Attention to those who want something more advanced: The switch automatically assigns IP through the DHCP of the router or any other network management device. There is no management interface, it is simply a plug and play solution to add more Ethernet ports.

I am considering getting a second one because the router only has 2 ports.
