The i40N is HJC's answer to the need for a helmet that combines style with everyday practicality. With a compact and aerodynamic shape, it is ideal for the rider who is constantly moving in an urban environment. The APC (Advanced Polycarbonate Composite) shell ensures low weight (1350g ±50), while the use of advanced CAD technology guarantees a fit and comfort rarely found in Jet helmets of this category.
Available in 2 shell sizes so it does not appear bulky, regardless of the size you wear.
HJC did not compromise on the interior. The Silvercool lining is antibacterial, moisture-wicking, and dries quickly, keeping you cool. Of course, it is fully removable and washable.
The large central vent on the top is designed to operate easily even with gloves, ensuring optimal airflow.

The purchase was made blindly with the logic that its shell material is more advanced than others in the same category and that since it is from one of the largest and top-selling companies worldwide, it must be doing something right. All the materials are of good quality, as is the assembly. The color and finish are very good, and that's the only distinct difference compared to another helmet I bought, which was cheaper from another company for another family member. Be careful if it fits under the seat if you have a scooter, because the .06 specifications are thicker (that's why it was preferred over the i31). For a jet helmet, I find it quite quiet (used only within the city <80km/h), the pinlock is a useless specification, the size is as stated, compared to my old helmet I feel some pressure on the forehead and a bit on the ears but I think it's just at the beginning and it will settle, it's logical that when you wear a helmet for years the next one feels different. Overall, satisfied and a value for money purchase

I got the black and red because of the color, but yes, it's light, but on your head it sits like a brick and you feel its weight. Obviously, it lacks padding so you don't feel this weight... I will experiment to fill it in some spots... personally, I don't recommend it. 3 stars because of the color. Price that day from 129 to 100... for its money, you can't say it's bad quality, but still... to give you an idea, I wore my friend's Hermes, which is half the weight of this one... and I thought, maybe it's just me, but this one is nice, it hugs you properly...
