You can choose to have only your pet’s paw print or imprint engraved, or add their name for a more personal touch. The keychain is suitable for everyday use and will not tarnish or wear out.
Engraving instructions
- Choose the type of engraving.
- Upload your preferred design by clicking “Upload file.” The imprint must be in JPEG, JPG, PNG, or PDF format.
- If you would also like us to engrave text, choose one of the 4 available fonts. You can see samples of the fonts in the photo.
- Engraving takes 3–5 business days, depending on workload.
How do we take the imprint?
Tempera or water-based paints are recommended for taking the imprint, as they are non-toxic and easier to remove than ink.
- Dip your four-legged friend’s paw in the paint.
- Gently press it onto a piece of paper for a few seconds.
- Lift it straight up, and the imprint is ready. A photo is all you need!
What is stainless steel?
Steel is an iron–carbon alloy. Stainless steel is a special category of steels that contain higher percentages of other metals. Steel has become popular in recent years because it offers several advantages: it is much cheaper than silver and gold, does not tarnish, is hypoallergenic compared with other metals such as bronze, and is quite durable. However, it is not a precious metal and therefore does not have lasting value.
