They have a mild antiseptic, soothing, protective and revitalising effect, while helping to restore and maintain vaginal pH. They are recommended before and after menstruation, before and after menopause, and during the postpartum period, as well as for non-specific vulvovaginitis and as a preventive measure before and after gynaecological procedures.
