Maca (Lepidium meyenii) is a root that thrives at high altitudes (4,100-4,500 m) and in challenging growing conditions. It is primarily cultivated in the highlands of the Andes, particularly in Peru, due to its rich nutritional value.

It is an important ingredient in traditional Peruvian medicine, possessing medicinal and tonic properties. It is used to boost the immune system and address menstrual cycle disorders and menopause. Additionally, it exhibits mild antidepressant effects.

The nutritional value of maca is high. It contains 60-75% carbohydrates, 10-14% protein, 8.5% fiber, and 2.2% fat. It is rich in vitamins (B1, B2, B12, C, E) and trace minerals such as zinc, calcium, magnesium, selenium, and iron.

Usage:
3-5 g per day dissolved in water or fruit juice, preferably in the morning hours.
