Calendula is known for its moisturizing, cleansing, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, astringent, soothing, and healing properties. It is considered one of the best herbs for treating local skin problems, irritations, inflammations, infections, skin ulcers, external bleeding, bruises, and sprains.

It is suitable for all skin types and is particularly recommended for dry and sensitive skin. It can be used in poultices as a tincture for minor burns, in compresses soaked with infusion for stings, or as a cream for mild eczema, dermatitis, and skin irritations.

Calendula is effective in treating acne and promoting the rapid healing of wounds. It can be applied to diaper rashes or on the body and face as a moisturizing cream.

Thanks to its antiseptic action, it is used in the form of tincture or infusion for oral rinses or gargles, as well as for the treatment of gingivitis.
