Description

The Intel Core i5 4590 processor is based on the Haswell microarchitecture (2014). It has 4 cores with 4 Threads. More cores provide increased power for programs that take advantage of a larger number of cores. Threads allow the processor to execute multiple applications simultaneously, performing tasks faster. Its maximum frequency is 3.3 Ghz.

The Cache memory it incorporates is 6 MB. Cache memory is a very important feature as the larger it is, the less time the processor requires to retrieve data from the computer's main memory, significantly increasing performance.

It has the 1150 Socket and will need to be hosted on a motherboard with a corresponding Socket. Finally, a cooler is not included. You will need to purchase a separate cooler for the processor, which is necessary.

The Core i5 4590 is a powerful processor, making it ideal for gaming and work conditions that require multiple applications and open browsing windows simultaneously.

Even after four years, it remains a powerful processor. The only thing is that its TDP is at 84 watts and not at 65 as mistakenly stated in the information.

I have 2 monitors, which I operate both simultaneously for tasks that require a lot of RAM memory and a powerful processor/graphics card.
First of all, I want to emphasize that it doesn't experience any bottleneck no matter how much I push it, and it doesn't exceed temperatures above 56 degrees Celsius (while using a 17 euro air cooler).
It doesn't struggle to run even 15 heavy programs at the same time. Whatever I have assigned to it, it has handled it flawlessly without needing to go through the overclocking process that some other processors require.

For anyone who doesn't have overclocking in mind, it's the best in terms of performance/price. I have owned it for about 10 months and the conclusions so far are only positive. I have it on an Asrock Z97 Pro 4 motherboard. Of course, when I bought it, it was 189€ and the motherboard was 99€, and now everything is +20-30€, but it's still a great purchase!
In terms of temperatures, it's very good even with the stock cooler, although I recently installed an Alpenfohn Himalaya II and now it doesn't go above 55 degrees at 85% load.

Flawless. Very powerful. And above all, it's worth every penny and more. It doesn't take overclocking. In my opinion, overclocking is generally useless as it can only cause problems and instability in the system, not to mention shortening the lifespan of the processor by half or even more. A very good and honest purchase.

Just if you want to give him a hard time, you also need a good cooler to keep him "cool"
