With the first rain, it stopped working. Initially, the sound intensity decreased and eventually stopped. Unacceptable for an outdoor product! They should have at least mentioned it on the packaging so I could have placed it somewhere protected. I cannot judge if it scared away the snakes while it was working because I only saw one snake (that's why I bought it) and then I didn't see any more. But it worked for so few days that I can't know.
