Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn, the second card series for the Disney Lorcana TCG, explores the dark roots of floodborn glimmers – Disney characters transformed by a mysterious flood of ink. The Illumineers and glimmers travel beyond the Great Illuminary, which was damaged by a flood of magical ink.

The six types of ink (Amber, Amethyst, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, and Steel) were released in a mixed and chaotic form. When the storyborn or dreamborn glimmers encountered this mixed ink, they acquired a power that changed them, transforming them into floodborn glimmers.

As the magical ink spilled from the Illuminary, precious stories met the same fate, including the powerful trident of Disney's King Triton. Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn features over 200 new cards, with characters like Winnie the Pooh and Tiana, as well as cards based on stories like "The Jungle Book," "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," "The Great Mouse Detective," "Pinocchio," "Zootopia," and "Raya and the Last Dragon."
