The Dimplex 82840015 convector heater warms the room through a combination of natural convection and radiant heat, in a ratio of 70% and 30%, respectively. Its metal front panel has a smooth surface, rounded corners and concealed top vents, while its slim design is just 9 cm deep. The electronic thermostat is accurate to ±0.05°C, and the heater is controlled using a digital controller with a backlit LCD screen or a smartphone via the Dimplex app.

Adaptive Start and Open Window Detection help save energy. The convector heater also features nine daily and weekly programming schedules, voice control via Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, and thermal protection.
