Signature Spellbook: Gideon is the second series of the Signature Spellbook. It contains 9 cards and was released on June 28, 2019.

In this special series, Gideon Jura appears in all illustrations. Most cards are white, with one being an artifact. The special card frames use a white version of the Beleren font and the color of the mana symbols is inverted.

For the depiction of Blackblade Reforged, Wizards of the Coast invited Richard Kane Ferguson, the artist who created the iconic look of the sword. It also features an exclusively designed legendary version of the card frame. The text frame has white lines and the illustration of a round mask is used for the holofoil seal. The expansion symbol is the sural and Gideon's shield in front of an open book.
