This volume contains the speeches of the judges and the session chairs of the conference organized by the Association of Judges and Prosecutors on June 16, 2023, on the topic: National Land Registry and Precautionary Measures in Property Law.

The work is divided into two parts. The first part is dedicated to issues related to the National Land Registry. Specifically, at the beginning of the volume (section I), the registration systems are analyzed, highlighting the advantage of this registry. Then, the importance of registration in the land registry sheets is emphasized (section II), which serves, on the one hand, as a condition for the validity of a real estate contract and, on the other hand, aims primarily to protect third parties. Exploring (section III.) the bodies responsible for registration in the land registry sheets (Authority, heads of land registry offices, land registry judges), both the principles of the National Land Registry (section IV) and the main land registry terms (section V) are emphasized, so that by approaching the subject of land registry law (section VI), the legal remedies intended to secure the purposes of the National Land Registry (section VII) can be analyzed.

The second part is dedicated to the law of possession and specifically to precautionary measures of possession, examining issues such as the admissibility and determination of the application for precautionary measures of possession, issues regarding precautionary measures of possession upon termination of real rights, and the challenge of possession, especially in cases of co-possession and condominium ownership.

Through the reading of specialized presentations by esteemed legal experts and judges of the country, the reader has the opportunity to recognize and understand the valuable connection between issues of Land Registry law and precautionary measures of possession within the field of taking provisional measures to restore the situation.
