The GROTECH BioPellet Reactor BPR-150 is a reactor for bio pellets ideal for marine aquariums up to 2,000L. It can be used inside or outside the sump.

Includes: 1000 ml NP-Minus BioPellets.

Bio Pellets usage instructions:

• Use 50 to a maximum of 200 ml NP-Minus BioPellets for every 100 liters of water, depending on the nutrient level in your aquarium water.
• To prevent bacterial overgrowth, gradual addition of the bio pellets is recommended at intervals of about one week.
• Start preferably with about 30% of the normally required amount.
• It is recommended that the reactor outlet be close to the inlet of the skimmer.
• Addition of bacteria promotes faster and more effective operation of the bio pellets.
• Warning: Bio pellets should not be left without stirring for long periods.

Information about Bio Pellets:

The NP-Minus BioPellets consist of 100% biodegradable polymers, which dissolve over a period of several months and serve as a carbon source for aerobic bacteria and other microorganisms. The pellets act as a food source for these microorganisms, creating bacterial biomass along with the nitrates and phosphates in the aquarium water.
