METHOD 1 of Spanish, level A1, is an intensive/extensive teaching method aimed at young adults, with a unit structure that adapts to the needs of students and teachers. It covers hours of either modality (80-100: intensive and 130: extensive). It is an innovative proposal focused on communication and the pragmatic use of linguistic productions, emphasizing the student and their effective participation in communication. It is based on classroom experiences.

The structure of the Student Book consists of 10 units divided into 4 sections:

• Contexts (immersion in the communication space)
• Observe, Learn and Remember (inference of content and reflection)
• Practice (sequenced exercises from the most guided activities to the most free)
• In communication (updating the unit content in real and relevant contexts for the student)

The EXERCISE NOTEBOOK has two distinct parts:

• Focused on language
• Focused on skills

The first part includes the practice of all linguistic aspects, including grammatical, lexical, phonetic, and orthographic, in an integrated manner. The second part exercises oral and written communicative skills, both receptive and productive.
