Arborio Organic Greek Rice

Arborio is a white, short-grain rice with a pearly, round, plump grain, ideal for risotto. It is characterized by high absorbency and a firm yet "sticky" texture, which is perfect for making a moist, slightly sticky risotto, where the grains retain their identity. The higher amount of soluble starch released during cooking makes the risotto creamy. Arborio requires 18 minutes of cooking and is ready when it is al dente, soft on the outside and firm in the center.
