I am surprised by the good reviews. My old printer is HP and after 15 years it still works. This particular multifunction device is not worth it even if it was given to you for free. It is very difficult to connect, it constantly disconnects and lately it gives an error and does not print at all. I even tried printing directly with a cable but unfortunately today, suddenly, it won't print that way either. Choose another machine.

Very good machine and it prints many pages. If you want to use it with compatible inks which will make its use cheaper, you SHOULD NOT ACTIVATE THE HP+ which offers free inks for a certain period. If hp+ is activated, then ONLY original inks can be used afterwards.

Nice prints, but if you connect it once via the internet with relatively few prints, they cancel your inks (they won't print again at all) and you are forced to either buy more or accept their offer for three months of free inks. Then...... same thing again

It does what it needs to do, but for double-sided printing, it has to be done manually and it constantly jams the paper. Printing on both sides of the sheet is a big hassle.

I have had this printer for three months now and so far everything works like a charm! It offers exactly what I bought it for, it is a reliable printer for home use! For the money, it is just fine and with HP's service, it gets even better! I have no issues with its connection to WIFI with my laptop as well as with my mobile!

Just installed in a friend's office. The printer looks good, well-built, and is priced well for what it offers. Of course, I also signed up for the instant ink service to get the printer for free since there won't be a need to buy expensive inks. HP gives additional months of FREE ink if you use the code jc1nbq when activating the Instant Ink service!!!! As soon as you sign up for the instant ink service, HP will send you a FREE set of inks that have more ink capacity even than the XXL inks sold in stores.

1. After the first sheet of paper, you have to press the paper button to continue printing. Otherwise, it blinks.
2. On the 6th-7th sheet, it jams and takes 1 minute to print that specific one, ejecting the paper incredibly slowly.
3. It consumes ink as if there is no tomorrow.

If you isolate all of the above, the result is relatively satisfactory.

I had a lot of trouble connecting it. I downloaded the HP Smart app on my phone, and while at first it seemed that the software installation and the connection to WiFi went smoothly, I struggled for hours to connect to the HP account I needed to create to complete the installation, to be able to print from my phone and register for Insta Ink. Until I discovered that the problem was due to using Chrome. I had to set Firefox as the default browser, and then it finally worked. I didn't have any issues with the printer itself, except maybe with the placement of the black ink cartridge, which required more pressure to snap in, and I was afraid I might break the casing. It prints faster than I expected, and the print quality is just fine for home use.

The installation and use is done only via Wifi through an app on the phone. In my case, the installation did not proceed because the printer did not recognize the color ink that was included in the package. It only progressed when I omitted the color ink and used only the black and white one. The laptop with Windows 10 found it easily via wifi.

Good machine for home use, no problems in the 5 months I have had it. Since I have limited usage, I could say that the Instant Ink program serves me well, although I think it could be more economical if you consider that there are good compatible inks available at very good prices for a large number of prints.
