Griffon Aqua Max sealant is a waterproof, solvent-free assembly adhesive and sealant based on SMP polymer. It is suitable for bonding, assembly and sealing almost all materials on almost all surfaces, even underwater.
It is used in applications in and around swimming pools and artificial ponds, such as skimmers, tiles, drains, outlet pipes and expansion joints. It withstands chlorinated and salt water, UV radiation and temperatures from -40 °C to +100 °C. It remains permanently elastic, does not shrink and can be painted. It is not suitable for polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), pure plaster or asphalt; for plastics, an adhesion test is recommended first.
