The Babyauto Scudda convertible car seat is installed rear-facing for children measuring 40–105 cm and forward-facing for children measuring 100–150 cm. The Isofix base and support leg are used in the first configuration, while in the second, the seat is secured using the Isofix anchors and the car’s 3-point seat belt. The integrated 5-point harness secures the child in the first configuration.

SIPS side-impact protectors are located on both sides of the seat and absorb energy in the event of a side collision. EPS padding on the sides of the backrest and headrest provides additional cushioning and protection. In the configuration for children measuring 100–150 cm, the integrated 5-point harness is removed and stored in an internal compartment.
