Description

At a glance

✓Suction power of 4,000 Pa with BLDC motor for deep cleaning of carpets & floors

✓Pressurized mopping: mechanism that applies downward force to remove even tough stains

✓Adaptive lift-up mopping (10 mm) to avoid wetting carpets

✓LDS + LiDAR + SLAM navigation for precise mapping up to 8 m and obstacle avoidance

✓Fine adjustments via app (MSmartHome): control power, water amount, no-go zones & scheduling

✓Automatic docking & charging with 5,200 mAh battery for 180′ of cleaning

"Dynastic" cleaning power

With a suction power of 4,000 Pa when you unlock it – it feels like having a professional cleaner in your home. The Nidec BLDC motor ensures strong and continuous performance, ideal for picking up dust, hair, and crumbs even from heavy carpets. Additionally, you can choose from four power levels (quiet, normal, intense, maximum) to adjust according to the time of day or the type of cleaning you want.

Pressurized mopping – clean floors up to… your sole

Forget the "poor" water ring when mopping: here we have a pressure structure that presses the cloth onto the floor, removing even dried stains. It also features 3 water settings, so you can make it as gentle or as deep as you want.

Intelligent mop lifting & carpet avoidance

Innovative system: when it detects a carpet using ultrasound and LiDAR, it lifts the mop by ~10 mm so it doesn’t get the carpet wet. At the docking station, it also lifts it to dry quickly, keeping the cloth cleaner and fresher.

Precise navigation & obstacle detection

With a LDS + LiDAR + SLAM system (Laser Distance Scanner + photo), it maps your space with accuracy up to ~8 m, creates multipolygon zones and avoids obstacles, cables, or toys thanks to 3D obstacle evasion. A winner for homes with scattered “blonde” things on the floor.

Automatic Charging & Long Battery Life

With a 5,200 mAh battery, it offers 90–180 minutes of autonomy – meaning it can clean an entire apartment without stopping. When the battery runs low, it automatically returns to the charging base, so you don’t have to look for it…

Smart control and adjustment

Through the MSmartHome (or Eureka) app, you have complete control: choose power, control the water, set no-go zones, and adjust scheduling. The M9 supports mapping of more than 3 floors – perfect for large houses or apartments.

Construction & capacities

Compactly designed (350×350×97 mm), it easily passes under furniture. It features a 250 ml dust bin and a 220 ml water tank, sufficient for medium to large areas without refilling. User-friendly and easy to operate.

Why choose it?

  • Suction power 4,000 Pa: for deep cleaning
  • Pressurized mopping & 3 water levels
  • Smart mop lifting for carpets (10 mm)
  • Precision LDS + LiDAR + SLAM mapping
  • 3D obstacle avoidance
  • Automatic docking & autonomy up to 180’
  • Control via app & full customization

The Midea M9 impresses with powerful cleaning, precise mapping, and easy operation, while it does not cause damage to furniture or carpets. Ideal for homes with pets! A small dustbin, moderate noise, and sensitivity to black carpets are the only minor drawbacks. Truly value for money, even though spare parts are not easily found in Greece.

The vacuum sees black carpets as obstacles and sometimes gets stuck for no reason on a carpet that it normally goes over without issue

Very good for its price, it hasn't been tested on carpets yet.
09/09/25 still works fine even on carpets but don't expect anything amazing. Still working.
05/12/2025 still works but the supposed mopping it did has stopped, probably something got clogged.

I am simply thrilled with this vacuum cleaner. I don't believe there is anything better for the money. It has features from much more expensive vacuums, such as pressurized mopping and automatic lifting of the brush when it goes onto carpets. It can also be adjusted to have greater suction power when cleaning carpets. It maps the space perfectly and avoids all obstacles. It requires a bit of attention to the cables, as they need to be gathered so that they don't get chewed up or blocked. It cleans very well and has a long battery life. The only negatives are that it has a relatively small dustbin and only supports the Midea app, not, for example, Tuya or SmartLife. At least I couldn't find a way to pair it with those apps, but it's not a big problem.

I wanted a vacuum cleaner up to 200€. So at this price, you get very good features.
Up to 150sqm battery, power, mapping, remote use.
In a 115sqm house with many rugs and carpets, on the standard program, the battery lasted 100 minutes. It didn't manage to clean a whole room. But it went for charging and finished afterwards.
In the specifications, it mentions 150 minutes, but I imagine that's when you don't have any rugs.
It passes several times through the same spots, resulting in a good job.
I didn't use it for mopping (when the rugs are removed).
It has no problem going over rugs - carpets.
It's just what we need for those of us who have pets
