The Covid-19 pandemic has created chaos in the business world and forced leaders to reconsider their current operating status. The balance between the physical and digital spaces of the global digital economy, where financial, commercial, and professional transactions are facilitated by information and communication technologies, has required additional support from data-driven technologies, such as smart analytics and artificial intelligence. The opportunities created within digital economies to leverage technologies to perform tasks better, faster, and often differently have gained the desired attention recently. Although the benefits outweigh the risks, the challenges in digitized economies are as sophisticated as the solutions they offer.
