This is the second one I buy. The first one broke after 3 years due to the heat, hence the 4 stars. Nevertheless, it fits my car perfectly, so I bought it again.

I struggled with this problem for years with many different mounts. I have damaged the vents from the air duct and still didn't have a good position, the suction cups on the glass limited my visibility as did those that hung from the mirror. The ones that attached to the sun visor, I was afraid I would hit my head. This particular one is in the best position, with the best visibility, and I should note that until now, the car's CD player was a useless device for me, but now its slot has a use. Now, regarding those who say it comes off easily, anyone can easily make a hack with double-sided tape or other solutions.

I read and researched a lot. I have been using the base daily for over a month. It is absolutely reliable and helpful. The phone adjusts automatically and is removed with the press of a button. It does not affect the CD player slot as it hooks onto the port entrance.

Clearly a value for money product

Good construction, it looks like it will do the job it is intended for a long time, but not in a first generation Hyundai i10. The slot for the CD is relatively wide and the base does not hold well at all.

I was looking for a base for a long time and I didn't like any. This one is perfect. It was installed in a Honda Jazz 2009 where the height of the CD is ideal for me. Very careful! It creates a problem on the inner "lips" of the CD/DVD as it damages them due to the pressure it exerts. Under no circumstances should it be placed in a serious sound system. I put it in an RNS510 and I cry every time I look at it.

Very good for its price. The construction materials are not something wow, but it hasn't had any issues after almost 5 months of daily use. The mechanism is very practical and functional. It has nothing to envy from other similar products that require power connection, etc.

- In an Opel Insignia where the CD slot is relatively low, the hand may accidentally touch the button when shifting gears. However, by placing the button slightly higher on the base, there is no issue. (When trying to position the base slightly to the right to avoid touching my hand, the CD mechanism gets confused and the device makes the sound it makes when 'reading' the CD).

It does not fit well on aftermarket RCD, resulting in it falling down, but also on the factory one that I tried, same thing happened. Additionally, if you tighten it too much, there is a chance of breaking the audio system frame.

If you have an Android screen, when you place the mobile on the base, it hides part of the screen... which is very bad if you use GPS, for example. It also creates the impression that the pressure on the CD slot could cause permanent distortion if left for many days. It can be supported on the air vent, but not as securely as on the CD. I chose it to avoid using the magnetic sticker on the phone.

I had broken 2 stands in 1 month and both were for ventilation.
With this specific one, I have been very satisfied for a month.

There are two issues. Firstly, in my car (yaris 03), the CD slot is relatively low, so when I change gears, my hand hits the phone and it falls off with the mount. Secondly, it is dangerous for driving because your gaze shifts from the straight road you're driving to looking down on the right at the phone, and you lose sight of the road. I believe that the mounts should be in line with your line of sight while driving.
Update 18/1/22: In the end, I threw it away. It kept falling off with the phone constantly, and it was dangerous when this happened while driving.

I have had it for just 2 weeks and I think that compared to other mounts, whether with a suction cup on the windshield or with attachment to the air vent, it seems to me the best choice for now and rightly I would say that it proves to be completely stable. In my car, I did not find anything negative regarding the accessibility and handling of the audio system, and even the mp3 CD that I constantly have inside continues to play without any problem.

I have bought 2 for myself and my wife. It has been extremely convenient for us.

Sturdy base, small in size so it doesn't bother and easy to install. It is important that it doesn't obstruct the phone from below, so it doesn't bother in case you want to connect, for example, the charger, works great!

Very good construction, it has a mechanism with springs and as soon as you place the mobile on it, it holds it and it doesn't move anywhere. The only downside that I gave it 4 stars is that it is expensive and that it is difficult to insert and remove from the console, but it plays CDs normally, so I recommend putting a CD with 100 songs inside for a trip and forgetting about it, so you don't have to take it out every day.

Very good base, with the quality of Spiegen material, as it has accustomed us. Additionally, it doesn't move at all on the streets of Athens. It is worth noting that I bought it to put it on the air vent and not on the CD player, as the corresponding socket is not visible. The plastic pieces that go into the CD slot in mine barely fit and are difficult to insert, with the fear of causing damage when removing it. That's why I got the other model from Spigen with the screw, which is more convenient for my case. Otherwise, the construction is very high quality.
