They do what they are supposed to without problems. Be careful with the connection protocols, they are Matter over WiFi and not over Thread. I remove 2 stars because it is very difficult to plug and unplug and ultimately problematic since one of my sockets got a phone charger stuck and it never came out again... It was thrown in the trash as it was, luckily the charger was old.

Just fine for its job. I used it on air conditioners to measure consumption and to check if they are operating remotely (not to turn them on or off – it is not suitable for that). The measurements are reliable and its connection is very easy.

This is my favorite smart power strip/consumption meter! I already have two and they have helped me incredibly to understand how much electricity my devices consume.

I have connected it to Apple HomeKit and thus I have created automations that simplify my daily life. Additionally, it is Matter compatible, which means it works with all ecosystems.

For the initial setup, I recommend using the Meross app, as it is the only way to update the firmware. If you don't need it afterwards, you can simply delete it.

Through the app, you can remotely turn devices on and off and see how many watts each one consumes. What excited me was that I can set the price per kilowatt-hour according to my provider, so it shows me the consumption in euros as well!

Finally, you can turn the small LED light of the power strip on or off, which makes it ideal for use in the bedroom without disturbing your sleep.

It is exactly what you see in the photos. Relatively large in size, but obviously that makes sense. Apart from the internals of a typical socket, it also has the material that makes it Smart. Therefore, the slightly larger size is justified. No other app is needed. You enter through the Apple home app, scan the QR code, wait a few seconds for successful pairing, and you're ready! But be careful (as with anything else), you need to have a hub from the company (any from the Homepod or Apple TV series) to control it outside the house. Immediate response. So far, after a week, I have no signs of connection loss and that makes me very happy. It also works flawlessly with automations/scenes. The build quality seems to be good. Overall, very satisfied with the purchase, but time will tell!

First of all, I chose not to use the manufacturer's app, as it claims to work with all the famous "home" apps (Google Home, Apple Home, Alexa, etc.) via the matter protocol.

Also, with smart devices that require their own app to function, it is impossible to know if support for the app—and therefore the device—will ever be discontinued.

I am evaluating based on connection with Apple Home. The installation seemed quite simple to me:
- Plug into power with the on/off LED flashing.
- Then, using the Apple Home app, scan the QR code on the plug (or enter the device's serial number found next to the QR).
- Wait for less than 1 minute.
- Optionally assign a room and device name.
- Done.

The device works flawlessly so far and is highly recommended.

Edit: I have bought a total of 6 in preparation for Christmas. Highly recommended.

It's fine, only problem is that it still doesn't support power measurement (yet .. I hope for an upgrade) through matter, only through the merross app
