Mastermind is a board game for two players, where one tries to guess a code that has been secretly chosen by the opponent.

Game rules for 2 players:

• One player becomes the code maker and secretly selects five colored pegs from the opponent, placing them in a coding device.
• The code is placed in 5 slots covered by a screen, so they are not visible to the other player, who becomes the guesser.
• The guesser has 12 attempts to guess the code, placing the pegs on the board as they see fit.
• Each smaller colored peg (usually black) indicates that a larger peg of that color is in the correct position, while each small white peg indicates that a larger peg of the correct color is in the wrong position.
• After evaluating the attempt, the guesser proceeds to another one.
• The game ends when the guesser correctly guesses the code or after twelve failed attempts.
• The code maker scores as many points as the guesser's attempts, and if the code is not guessed, they earn an additional point.
• The winner is the player who accumulates the most points after a predetermined number of rounds.
• After guessing the code, the players switch roles.
