Fuse holders and DC fuses
Protect photovoltaic components from reverse currents and are recommended to be used when the system is designed and operated with more than two string arrays. The fuses, which have suitable response characteristics to DC current, should be selected at 1.25 times the short-circuit current of the photovoltaic components used. Fuse holders should not be used as load switches.
