The cat eats the paste just fine, initially only after it is mixed into wet food with a little warm water. Be careful, it is very sticky. No issues appeared in her digestive system, nor any problem with hairballs.

Update 1: Now she eats it comfortably even with dry food. She has never produced a hairball (combined with daily brushing with a rubber brush) and it seems that whatever is there comes out in the stool.

Update 2: Now she even eats it plain, she goes crazy for it!!! It works immediately, and it shows.

It is quite sticky (even worse when it's cold) and makes it difficult for the cat to consume it. To not waste it completely, I gave it to him a few times by rubbing it on his gums, but I went and got another one that he likes and threw this one away. When he consumed it, I felt it did the job it was supposed to do, though.

I have been using it on my cats for over a decade, since the time it was called Nurish Um and you couldn't find it in stores so easily! The product is a guarantee and is one of the first pastes for hairballs that appeared on the market! The big advantage is its palatability, as the cat consumes it directly from the tube or we put it in their dry food or even on their paws for them to lick it off. It's more useful for long-haired cats, but all cats have the issue with hairballs anyway... It requires some diligence with the dosage and adherence to it for hairball prevention. For all the cats I give it to regularly, I have forgotten about the vomit on the carpets and floors! Even as a snack/reward, we use it many times so they associate it with positive behaviors. A classic value!

I have cats at home, I give it to them and none of them like it, so I rub it on their face and they lick it. Now I am waiting to see if it has an effect regarding hairballs.

Indeed, it does the job.. and if you forget to give it and there is a problem with the cat, you can give it for three consecutive days and everything will be fine

My cat runs to hide as soon as he sees me holding the hose. He doesn't like it at all. I put it on my finger but nothing happens.

For 4 years now, the cat food is very good and the cats easily take it. I had tried something else like a paste that smelled so bad and made the cat sick. I went to the vet and she recommended it instead of the other one. She told me it would be a little more expensive, and indeed it was, but the cat didn't get sick again with hairballs. I put it in the food for the boys or on my finger for my cat. That's how she learned it from a young age

The vet had recommended it to me because my cat keeps getting hairballs. It saved both me and him! It's the only thing he eats with appetite, unlike other ones I had bought for him that made him vomit. I give him the recommended dose every morning with a syringe for easier administration.

Very good!! My (long-haired) cat takes it preventively once a week and I stopped finding hairballs in the house!.. And you don't need to mix it with food.. it disappears as it is from the tube!!
