An Eulogy to Revolutions, but specifically: to the two foundational revolutionary events of a century overwhelmed by the disruptive mobilization of the masses; an eulogy to the October Revolution of 1917 and to the Chinese Cultural Revolution of 1966.

With this text, Badiou presents an unapologetic defense of the open, violent, and transformative nature of revolutions, thus openly participating in the fierce ideological battle that is unfolding, to provide the side of the oppressed and their movement with a systematic approach to the organized revisionist slander launched against them by official state historiography.
