When installation space is critical, the solution is the M-SW1000, the ultra-compact active subwoofer. With a depth of just 60 mm, it comfortably fits under or behind the seat or in the storage area of any vehicle. The 10-inch dual voice coil driver, despite its compact dimensions, delivers good sound pressure with a maximum power of 200 Watts.

  • Dimensions: 365 mm x 270 mm with a height of only 60 mm, allowing for installation in very tight spaces.
  • Aluminum body that ensures great robustness for good resonance reduction.
  • Easy access to high-level or line inputs.
  • General technical specifications: 10-inch driver capability, 200 Watt RMS capability, Frequency response 30 Hz - 150 Hz.
  • Signal-to-noise ratio > 100 dB, Input sensitivity: RCA: 90 mV > 2.9 V, High-level input sensitivity: 0.5 V > 10 V.

  • Let's start with the sound quality. Very good, I would say better than the popular 8-inch Alpine. It captures lower frequencies, not too much sub of course, but reasonable and powerful when combined with good components, it is more than enough for an average bass lover.

    Now, onto the negatives, it lasted less than 2 years. The Alpine lasted 2.5 years. And you might say that I don't know how to adjust them correctly... I know how to use a multimeter and the speakers I have installed in the doors (with an amplifier) have been going strong for over 5 years. The conclusions are yours to draw. But if I had known from the beginning that it would go like this, with €500 I could have made a custom slim system wherever I wanted in the car.
