    There is no way a baby can fit in. The wooden protective part is narrow and the seat is too close to the protective part, making it impossible for the baby's legs to pass through. If you want to lower the seat so that the baby's little legs can fit, the safety latch does not fasten, making this specific high chair extremely dangerous. It's a shame, honestly, for so much money, now I will have to buy another one. The baby has a normal height and weight and is 5.5 months old.
