Its multi-stage filtration captures sediment and suspended particles, while the polypropylene pre-filter captures particles down to 25 μm. The filter is suitable for drinking water and is certified by NSF International to NSF/ANSI 42 for its construction materials.

It is installed on the main water supply line and has no specific installation direction. A wrench is required to replace it.
