The "Neurology of Logothetis" has reached its sixth edition and responds to everything new concerning neurosciences, the pathophysiology of diseases, diagnostic capabilities, and therapeutic developments.
New chapters in this new edition include "rare neurological diseases" and "emergency and common neurological conditions," while regarding the structure, the manuscript retains its four parts.
The first part addresses the clinical examination and history taking, and the second covers the nosology of the nervous system. This includes many new elements for the diagnosis and treatment of dementias, cerebrovascular accidents, primary sclerosis, epilepsy, movement disorders, and myopathies.
Additionally, among other things, there are additions to the chapter on brain death, and in the chapter on infections, the COVID-19 disease has been included.
The third part examines laboratory diagnostics from the examination of CSF, neurophysiological tests, ultrasounds, and magnetic resonance imaging, while the fourth includes a sample nursing sheet and an index.
