I bought it yesterday for €8, and I repaired a QBRICK toolbox base worth €60. It literally paid for itself in 10 minutes. I was skeptical about the repair (since I had previously welded it again with plastic and a soldering iron for tin, and it broke on the first use), but this time it was a big surprise. The base normally supports 30-40 kg, and now I climbed on it (80 kg) and, trying to break it, it would not come apart! Surely after all the tests I did, the seams opened a little, but it did not break! Honestly, if the soldering iron broke tomorrow, I would buy it again; at its price, it would be worth it even if it were disposable.

I ordered it from Athens for 8+3.5=11.5 euros. The product is excellent and does its job very well, quickly and very powerfully. I would recommend slightly bending the staples’ legs before using them with the cutter inside, so that afterward you can cut them with your hand in one simple motion and they won’t stick out.

A very useful tool and I wonder why I hadn’t bought it sooner and was trying with makeshift fixes and glue, resulting in wasting time and getting frustrated.
So far I have made repairs on cars, toys, etc. and I can say that it has more than paid for itself.

Simply, it is good to also buy the box with the spare parts along with it, since the ones included in the package are not that many.

Excellent tool for its price. Use a better cutter when cutting the wires. The one provided is of poor quality and hurts your hands.

With the first repair it paid for itself immediately! We glued a broken vacuum cleaner handle that could not be glued (and withstand) with anything else (see epoxy etc.). The review concerns the device and its usefulness, the peripherals (cutter, knife) are nothing special in terms of quality.

Everything is fine but it's cheap, both in a good and a bad way... In general, I don't use it much and I don't have high expectations. It's good to have it available in your toolbox.

Very good tool, I got it to weld footrest brackets on a Kawasaki Kazer and it did a very good job, it will definitely work well in other applications too.

the only thing I would like is for the activation trigger to work differently. not to require constant pressing.

Excellent tool. It does exactly what it promises. I used it on my car's broken bumpers and after 3 months of use, they are exactly as they were the day I repaired them.

Excellent affordable electric soldering iron. I repaired broken plastics on my motorcycle's fender and on my wife's car bumper, and the job the soldering iron did was very good.

Bumper repair after a crash, flawless result. The wires that come with it are not enough at all, make sure to buy extra ones right away.

It glued a piece of plastic that wouldn't stick with anything, where even the epoxy glue failed, this one succeeded

The gun is very good, it glues plastics easily. I glued a knife handle that had broken in two and it glued it very well!

The soldering iron does its job and more, especially if intended for amateur use. With a little care, you can do your work easily and economically.

It does its job very well, a bit annoying that you have to keep the trigger pressed until it reaches the temperature.

Unfortunately, in hard plastic (for waffles) it failed to melt, releasing dangerous smoke (a mask is absolutely necessary). In soft plastics, I believe it manages well.

It does what it promises. For small jobs at home, in the car, etc., it is excellent. The car's bumper had broken supports inside and was falling off; with the machine, I managed to do the necessary stitching to make it stable.

It paid for itself with the first 2 plastic lights I glued. It does exactly what the description says.

I have tried it on a cracked wing on a machine. I can say that it did a good job, but of course, since the machine has vibrations due to the road surface, I placed a thin aluminum sheet from the bottom of the wing along with silicone that withstands moisture, and the problem was solved. Of course, if the wing was completely broken, the device's staples would simply hold it in place, so I would definitely need to use a metal strip with strong silicone for stability due to the vibrations.

So far, in two or three tasks it works fine.
It requires attention because the instructions say not to use it for more than 5 seconds at a time, but it's enough to insert the wire into the plastic for correction

Value for money, for amateur use it's great! I would have liked it to have thinner wires in the collection, the ones it has are for thick plastics (e.g., car bumpers), I had to search and obtain thinner wires for plastic toys, etc

As others have written, the cutter is a disaster. However, the tool is practical and convenient for plastic bonding.

The job is done just fine, my only objection is that it came in a cardboard box (see photo) and not in a plastic case....
