The Hive Guard are heavily armored war-beasts attached to incredibly powerful symbiotic bio-weapons. They are created to guard the Tyranid Hive Ships and the capillary towers that stand vigilant over the prey worlds, until the moment the invaders come within range of their deadly weapons.
