Hans-Ulrich Obrist, drawing from his personal experiences and inspirations, from his first exhibition in his small kitchen in Zurich in 1986 to his encounters with artists, exhibitors, and thinkers, aims to inspire all those involved in the creation of culture. Moving from meetings with artists to the creation of the first public museums of the 18th century, he recalls the practice of inspired figures like Diaghilev, crossing exhibitions, continents, and centuries. Ways of Curating argues that curating is far from a static practice. Driven by curiosity, in its best form, it allows us to create the future.
