it only works with small kibbles, if you put larger ones the outlet gets clogged and the food supply stops

We bought it for cats, but it didn't solve our problem...
It has the ability to dispense food only 3 times a day (you choose meals: breakfast - lunch - dinner) and specific times for each meal. We wanted more times per day, but we thought it's okay, we'll just set it to dispense a larger quantity of food each time.
But:
The food is dispensed by measuring cups: so we chose to dispense 10 cups per meal, but because the bowl has a particularly small slope, the food gathers in the front - where it falls, and after 4-5 cups it "gets clogged" and doesn't dispense anymore.

I have had it for a month and it has not presented any problem. It works better with small croquettes. The downside is that it only takes batteries (I haven't changed them yet), it does not have a power connection, and there is no option for only one meal before ten in the morning (it has predetermined hours depending on the meals you choose - 1, 2, or 3)

Very good for dogs, but it will need modification if intended for a cat. My cat figured out that the food falls, so she would put her paw in the groove and take out kibbles whenever she wanted. So, I stuck a plastic piece along the groove and now her paw doesn't fit to do the same thing.
It takes 4-5 days for the animal to get used to the machine and not "abuse" it, but after that, everything is fine.
The only negative is that the bowl (although it comes off very easily and can be washed) is plastic, which is considered unhealthy. I would prefer it to be ceramic or stainless steel.
