I had both pairs on a flight, and the other pair, which is also cheaper, isolated the noise while these, which are also heavier, did not isolate properly.     I also have another Edifier model with excellent Active Noise Cancellation. These have very poor noise cancellation. I had both pairs on a flight, and the other pair, which is also cheaper, isolated the noise while these, which are also heavier, did not isolate properly. Unfortunately, they don't work for me and I was disappointed. Before you buy them, compare all their models with each other and also check the weight, which is important.
