The Aqua Pure APDUC 14 double water filter unit combines an Aqua Pure APUF ultrafiltration membrane and an Aqua Pure APCYD solid carbon block filter for two-stage filtration. The membrane retains solid particles, sediment, sludge, rust, cysts, parasites, bacteria and microorganisms down to 0.01 μm, without removing the water’s beneficial trace elements. Made from 100% coconut shell, the activated carbon filter helps remove lead, copper, mercury, strontium, asbestos, particles, herbicides and volatile organic compounds, while also reducing chlorine, odors and unpleasant tastes.
