The HP MP250 projector is a portable DLP projector with an LED light source, autofocus, and built-in speakers. It projects a 16:9 image measuring 38–80 inches, while the 1.2:1 throw ratio allows an 80-inch image to be projected from a distance of 2.1 meters. The Android operating system and app center provide access to OTT content, such as movies, TV series, music, and games.

4-point, 2-axis keystone correction helps align the image. Wireless projection is supported by iOS and Android devices on the same Wi-Fi network, while the HDMI and USB ports allow connections to other sources and playback of content from USB.
