MERKUR is a traditional Czech company that has been producing metal playsets for over 100 years. The origins of the production date back to 1920, when Mr. Jaroslav Vancl founded the company Inventor. Initially, the metal parts were joined together with metal hooks. In 1925, the manufacturer transitioned to a new system, which has remained unchanged to this day.

The metal parts are now connected with M 3.5 screws and nuts. This step brought the set closer to real construction and provided children with more opportunities to play and work creatively. With the transition to the new system, the new brand MERKUR was registered.
