Amazing both as a scratching post and as a bed, and YOU CAN'T TELL AT ALL. Personally, my cat loved it and spent a lot of time with it, scratching and also curling up on it from time to time. From the photos and the description, it sounds like a "cheap" construction that will break immediately, but believe me, I waited over 6 months to leave this review. It is indeed made of cardboard but it is very hard and very durable. With daily use, it lasted almost 7-8 months and keep in mind that I generally don't trim her nails often, so I didn't even expect it to last that long. You'll know it's starting to wear out when small pieces of cardboard start to fill the surrounding area. But still, for this price... must-buy. At worst, if your cat doesn't use it as a scratcher, just put a blanket on top and use it as a bed.

My cat uses it to sleep during the afternoons -siesta- and to watch us because it is placed in a strategic spot! He also uses it as a scratching post sometimes, but I have the feeling that it seems more like a bed -nest to him. In any case, we are very satisfied!

It hasn't stopped scratching it! It got so attached to it that it ended up sleeping in it! But it's a 10-kilo bull and obviously overflows! I bought it as a gift for a friend too and I will definitely buy it again as soon as the bull destroys it!
