FIBRANgeo R-050-AL stone wool rolls with a glass mesh-reinforced aluminium foil facing are a natural, inorganic, fibrous mineral wool insulation material. They are manufactured by melting and spinning rock, in accordance with European Standard EN 13162 (MW – Mineral Wool insulation product for buildings).

Applications:

• Thermal insulation, fire protection and sound insulation in intermediate horizontal cavities within building structures.
• Suspended ceilings in dry construction systems (e.g. plasterboard, mineral fibre, metal or wood).
• On a flat roof beneath a pitched tiled roof.
• Between the purlins or beams of a wooden or metal roof.
• Between the battens of a wooden raised floor.
