Vernilac Veradur acrylic primer is a white, water-based primer for plasterboard and other building surfaces. It covers and seals stains caused by smoke, nicotine, mould, coffee, juices, water-soluble markers and other contaminants, preventing them from bleeding through the topcoat. It balances surface absorbency, allows surfaces to breathe and resists the alkalinity of surfaces such as fresh concrete and new plaster.
It dries quickly and can be used as an intermediate coat when changing from dark to light shades, helping reduce the number of additional topcoats needed. It contains no ammonia and is virtually odourless.
