Smooth, sweet and fruity whiskey. Pear and white flesh fruits on the nose, smooth medium body and good taste. It won't blow you away, but it's a decent product. I would say the aftertaste is moderate to small. At 33 euros, if you can find it like I did, and up to 35, I would say it's worth it... I wouldn't pay more. The downside is that it's easy to drink... You'll finish it faster than others... I would rate it 3.8 and would recommend it for purchase even as a safe choice! Worth a try even if you've tried much better...!!!

"The 'good but there are better ones' doesn't surpass Glenfiddich for me. Are we talking about a Balvenie for 58 euros? Anyway, it doesn't seem like something that someone who knows about whisky would bother to mention. No one said it's the best in the world.

The iconic Speyside single malt, top-selling but okay, that should leave us indifferent. It was the 'good', maybe the only single malt in Greek households in the 80s. Green apple, pear, honey, meadows. Freshness, smoothness, like all Speyside whiskies, of course. Try it with a spicy cheddar, it suits it.

For this price, it's one of the best, I haven't bought a bottle in a while and I've missed it, I must say. I'm glad I can find it almost everywhere on a night out."

Clearly better than all the blended whiskies we consider special here in Greece (Black, 12-year-olds, etc). Otherwise, it is completely introductory to the world of single malts. It is the most popular single malt in the world but falls short in terms of aroma, taste, aftertaste, compared to single malts of similar price. It is recommended to buy it at a price of up to 32€ in stores outside of Skroutz or in some offer. At prices of 35+€ that it is sold here, clearly not. There are many nicer and more affordable single malts. Jura 10, Singleton 12, Deanston Virgin Oak, Bushmills 10 are some of them.

A very good whiskey, sweet as it has aged in sherry barrels, easy to drink, with aromas of caramel, sherry, vanilla, even pear, a very commendable whiskey and value for money in my humble opinion, very honest. As a plus in my opinion, the fact that the business is family-owned until today, which is not related to its taste, but it holds significance in our days.

First of all, I want to say that this is simply a good single malt whisky. It's not anything special, but it's not "cheap" either. Its taste is indeed "fruity" and smooth, as mentioned in the other comments. The Glenfiddich 15 that I had tried before was noticeably superior in taste with a relatively small price difference compared to the 12-year-old. I would recommend at least trying it for someone who wants a good single malt at a reasonable price.

A single malt at the price of a Johnnie Black! Light aromas with a fruity sensation and very "smooth" in taste. At this price, it has almost no rival. Perhaps the best choice for those entering the world of malt. Certainly, at other prices, there are much more flavorful malts.

Very nice fruity malt with a scent of pear, etc. (because some people write about caramel color in the color, most malts have it but it doesn't change the taste.. and they do it more for the color as whiskies are light-colored and not dark-colored. Good choice for a start)

I will agree with the rest of the reviews that it is not a complex whiskey. However, I consider it good as a "summer" whiskey. It immediately brings to mind green apple and fruits of that style in general, but it doesn't go much further. Overall, though, I believe it is worth trying because it has a unique taste for whiskey, even if it is not very complex. I would not recommend buying it again, as you easily get bored of it

A mediocre whiskey without many thrills. Nice on the nose and easy to drink, but that's about it. For about 5 euros more (even at the same price), you can buy something much more complex. As for the friend who mentioned the color, let me inform you that many single malts aged 12 years have added coloring.

Excellent for its price. Perhaps the best single malt under 30 euros.

Intense flavor that if you like malt whiskey, it is the best choice for its price.

  • Smooth, sweet and fruity whiskey.

  • "The 'good but there are better ones' doesn't surpass Glenfiddich for me.

  • Clearly better than all the blended whiskies we consider special here in Greece (Black, 12-year-olds, etc).

  • For its price, it is an excellent choice. This and the Cardhu, I think, are the best in this price category

  • Cardhu is better (since you can find both in supermarkets and they are at the same price)...
Personally, I didn't like it at all.
