Sazaki Sogo, hired by Square Enix, sees his dream of creating a Final Fantasy game come true! However, when he begins to work, he quickly discovers that his job has nothing to do with his favorite series... Disappointed, his excitement for FF begins to wane, despite the efforts of his sister and colleague, Yuko, to cheer him up. Their conversation, however, is interrupted by a truck racing uncontrollably towards them...! When Sogo regains consciousness, the first thing he sees is... a Moogle?! Wait, was that a healing potion? And chocobos...? He finds himself in a Final Fantasy world without a specific setup. How will a super-fan like Sogo survive?
